We will give you up to three names and contact numbers of qualified and accredited Addiction Counsellors. You may specify your preference for male or female, the location by Province, city or town, and particular specialities, like experience with adolescents or families. If you choose to you may want to ask for particular experience around specific drugs or behaviour like cocaine or food, sex or gambling.

It is not entirely necessary to specify what your particular problem might be but it might be more beneficial to ask for a counsellor with more experience or training in your specific area. Every IAAAC accredited addiction counsellor is competent to deal with addictions but some have developed particular skills, training or experience with particular addictions.

All phone calls are treated in the strictest of confidence. Phone 01 797 9187 If the operator is busy you might be put through to an answering machine. Leave a contact number and a name and say you are looking for a counsellor. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.

If you wish the return call to be discreet just say so when leaving the message and we will not identify ourselves when returning the call until we are put through to the named contact.
